Flexibility

Licentia recognises the importance of flexibility in daytime routines to prioritise a person-centred approach. Our Live-In Personal Assistants operate under the understanding that schedules may fluctuate. In the event of no external break cover, we expect our Personal Assistants to communicate with the individual to arrange breaks at a mutually agreeable time.

Continuity

Licentia matches a compatible team of live-in personal assistants. For individuals requiring complex care, we typically recommend a rotation of two weeks on and two weeks off between two live-in personal assistants to guarantee sufficient rest breaks.

Experience

Licentia employs Live-In Personal Assistants with experience in caring for individuals with Spinal Cord Injury, Brain Injury, or Neurological Conditions ensuring they have sufficient knowledge and skills to meet the individuals requirements and preferences.

Diversity

Our team of Personal Assistants is wonderfully diverse, drawing from a rich array of backgrounds and cultures. Among our dedicated staff, you’ll find individuals hailing from Britain, South Africa, the Philippines, various European countries, and beyond. This diverse tapestry of experiences and perspectives enriches our service delivery, ensuring a dynamic and inclusive approach to meeting the unique needs of each individual we support.

Training

Our Personal Assistants complete tailored training specific to your requirements, including clinical training for delegated healthcare tasks. Additionally they undergo industry-regulated training that encompasses all mandatory courses. We assist our Personal Assistants in obtaining higher education, including diplomas in Health and Social Care
